Handmaid of the Lord – based on a Vintage Holy Card – Catholic Art Print – Archival Quality Choose Paper Size (Image is Smaller):11x14 Black Frame The Third Sorrow: The LossThe inscription at the bottom of this lovely holy card said, in German, "Heart, learn from me in all circumstances as I am the handmaid of the Lord!" The heart she's calling out to is yours and mine. Mary enjoys a special place next to Jesus, and so, as St. Louis de Montfort said, she "is the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus". We have been looking at this holy card for a long time, always thinking it was beautiful.
