Japanese Tokoname Style Stoneware Chawan Mishima Decoration W/ Grey Glaze Over White Slip Red Terracotta Bowls commonly known as Foo DogsJapanese Mishima Style Stoneware Chawan This vintage Japanese stoneware chawan features finely incised Mishima style decoration beneath a soft grey blue glaze over a warm red clay body. Bands of geometric and stylized leaf motifs wrap the exterior, while the interior is decorated with a looser carved pattern that highlights the craftsmanship of the piece. The bowl is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Please review all
