The light alabaster style shade has carved designs of countries in the Southern Hemisphere, including South America, South Africa and islands, possibly Oceanic. It has a gilded wrought iron tripod central stem supporting the bowl shaped shade. The maker's stamp can be found on the alabaster base. Sourced from Bourges, Central France.
