That all changes under the lens of Commander

One of the reasons pregame chats are so useful (but also do so much heavy lifting) is because one players idea of casual can include combos, stax-lite and lots of board wipes while anothers is the more traditional battlecruiser style building up a board and duking it out in combat, where midrange decks and creatures with Flying reign supreme

It's restricted, but you're usually hard pressed to find games where it's entirely dead unless you sit down at a table with all mono-color decks or other colorless enjoyers

Definitely one of my favorite cards in the set

As time passed, I came around on it being the best removal spell in the set, and quite possibly the best card in the set
