Rid R.), British War Medal, Victory Medal (named as Star except rank as Cpl) John William Britton was from Adderley Green, Staffordshire and served in the 8th Battalion, West Riding Regiment. He landed in Gallipoli with his battalion 7 July 1915. Following the evacuation, Britton was transferred to the 32nd Brigade, Machine Gun Company.
